23 Jun 2016: The plan for tomorrow

image

Tomorrow’s stage (the unlucky 13th, I’m afraid) should be about 60 miles with not too much climbing. But it’ll be challenging because of navigation and traffic. It’ll be a bit like stage 5 (Cheddar to Ross) which involved skirting Bristol and crossing the Severn and Wye estuaries over the long Severn road bridge. Tomorrow I’ll have to skirt Edinburgh through Eskbank, Gilmerton, Murrayfield and Cramond, then over the Forth road bridge at Queensferry. After that, a climb up to Kinross on Loch Leven.

Recently, my navigation has been quite successful. Let’s hope that’ll continue…

Today you are riding past some of our favourite Sunday afternoon walks; Loch Leven Larder does wonderful cream tea!
