51 miles from Kinross to Pitlochry today. The morning was nice, with intermittent sun and a nice (but hilly) route through Path of Condie, Gask, Balgowan and Moneydie (aren’t the place names wonderful?)
In the afternoon, the rain started and carried on until I arrived in Pitlochry. Again, a nice route crossing the Tay several times, but hard to appreciate it properly in the rain.
I particularly liked the little bridge at Logierait, which has been restored and maintained by the community.
This brings total mileage to approximately 800, so the end is in sight. But there is a formidable 86-mile stage ahead of me on Monday, with more rain forecast for that day…
